Gel Pedicure
The Russian technique, applied to feet — dry cuticle and heel work, gel flush to the nail, and a finish that lasts until it grows out.
01 · WHAT IT IS
What it is.
A gel pedicure here is a Russian pedicure: dry e-file work on cuticles and hard skin, no long soaking, then gel polish applied flush to the base of the nail. The same precision as our manicure, at floor level.
Feet give gel an easier life than hands — no typing, no washing up — so toe gel often wears even longer than the manicure that matched it. The limit is regrowth, not chips, and the flush application delays that too.
The full Russian pedicure takes two hours and covers heels, hard skin and nails. Short on time, or your feet only need colour? The toes-only version does nails alone in 1 hour 30 minutes, from £75.
02 · WHY IT WORKS
Why clients choose it.
Four weeks and usually more.
Toes are kind to gel — regrowth shows before the colour fails.
Dry technique throughout.
Cuticles and hard skin handled with the e-file, not softened to mush in a soak.
Flush to the nail.
Gel applied to the base grows out cleanly — no chipped edge to hide in week three.
Heels included.
The full pedicure treats hard skin on heels and soles, not just the visible ten nails.
A toes-only option.
Nails and colour in 1 hour 30 minutes, when the rest of the foot doesn't need work.
Honest about feet.
Cracked heels, ingrowns, thickened nails — if you need the podiatric pedicure instead, we'll say so before we start.
03 · YOUR VISIT
Your visit, step by step.
Consultation.
We look at nails, heels and skin, and agree colour and shape — and whether the podiatric pedicure would serve you better.
Preparation.
Old gel comes off, cuticles are lifted and removed dry, hard skin is smoothed with the e-file.
The pedicure.
Shape, then gel in thin cured layers, sealed at the edges — the same slow, flush application we use on hands.
Aftercare.
Cuticle oil on toes too — the habit nobody has and every pedicure needs. Rebook in about four weeks.

05 · GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Three to four weeks, often more — feet give gel an easier life than hands, so regrowth usually shows before the colour does.
Toes only is nails and colour: shape, cuticle work, gel — 1 hour 30 minutes. The full Russian pedicure adds heel and hard-skin work across the foot, and takes two hours. If your heels are happy, toes only is the sensible buy.
Not the way you might expect. The technique is dry: cuticles and hard skin are handled with the e-file rather than soaked soft and scraped. It's more precise, and the smoothness lasts longer.
Yes — gel cures fully under the lamp, so nothing smudges on the way home. No hobbling out in foam sandals.
Possibly not, and we'd rather tell you now: deep cracks, ingrown nails and calluses that hurt belong with the podiatric pedicure. Book that instead — or book this and we'll advise honestly on the day.
Every four weeks keeps feet consistently done; five to six works if regrowth doesn't bother you. Toenails grow slower than fingernails — a pedicure forgives a late rebooking.
