Classic Pedicure
Two unhurried hours for feet that have earned them. Regular polish or a clean bare finish — the preparation is where the work is.
01 · WHAT IT IS
What it is.
A classic pedicure is the full service in its traditional form: soak, thorough nail and cuticle work, smoothing of hard skin, and a finish in regular polish — or no colour at all, for feet that just want to look after themselves quietly.
The full version takes up to two hours, and most of that time goes where you can’t see it from the top: heels, edges, cuticles. It’s why the result reads as healthy feet rather than painted ones.
There’s also a 30-minute file-and-polish for when the groundwork is recent and only the colour needs refreshing. Every instrument is sterilised in an autoclave between appointments — feet deserve the same rigour as hands.

03 · YOUR VISIT
Your visit, step by step.
Consultation.
We look at nails, heels and skin, and agree the finish — colour, or a clean bare buff. If your feet would be better served by our podiatric pedicure, we'll tell you.
Preparation.
A warm soak, then nail shaping, cuticle work and careful smoothing of hard skin. This is the long part, deliberately.
The finish.
Base, colour and top coat — or buffing and oil for the no-colour version — with proper drying time built in. Bring open shoes if you can.
Aftercare.
A rich foot cream a few evenings a week keeps the smoothness. Most clients rebook every four to six weeks.

05 · GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
The polish gives you a week or two on feet — it lives a gentler life than on hands. The smoothness and shape last a month or more; most clients rebook every four to six weeks.
Gel if you want colour that survives holidays, gyms and long weeks untouched. Classic if you prefer regular polish, change colour often, or want nothing left on the nail. The preparation is equally thorough either way.
Because feet accumulate more work than hands — hard skin, thicker nails, edges that need care. Two hours is what it takes to do all of it well rather than most of it quickly.
Mention it when you book. Simple tidying is within a pedicure's scope, and we offer specific nail correction services; for anything persistent or painful we'll recommend the podiatric route rather than pretending polish fixes it.
Open-toed shoes if you're having colour — regular polish needs time to harden properly. Otherwise, just your feet.
