Celluma LED Light Facial
Thirty minutes under a canopy of gentle light. No needles, no acids, no sensation at all — just skin that looks calmer for it.
01 · WHAT IT IS
What it is.
Celluma is a professional LED panel that curves over the face and bathes the skin in specific wavelengths of low-level light — a technology first explored by NASA and now a fixture of good skin studios. There’s no heat worth mentioning, no contact and no sensation; you simply lie beneath the light for a set half-hour.
Different wavelengths are chosen for different jobs: blue light for blemish-prone skin, red for skin that wants to look calmer, brighter and generally better-rested. Many clients find their skin looks clearer and more settled over a course — and it’s a cosmetic treatment, so that’s precisely how we’ll describe it.
At £45 it’s the gentlest and most affordable session on our facial menu — an easy standing habit, and the natural finishing step after peels, deep cleansing or microneedling. Unsure whether LED suits your skin? The £15 consultation answers that honestly before you commit to anything.
02 · WHY IT WORKS
Why clients choose it.
Completely effortless.
You lie down, the light does its work, and the half-hour is yours to doze through.
Calmer-looking skin.
Red-light sessions are booked for a settled, rested look — many clients see it build over a course.
A friend to blemish-prone skin.
Blue-light settings are the classic choice for skin that congests easily.
Zero downtime, zero sensation.
No redness, no flaking, nothing to plan around. The mildest treatment we offer.
Plays well with others.
The standard finisher after peels, extractions and microneedling — and bookable with any of them.
An honest price.
£45 a session makes the recommended course an easy decision rather than a brave one.
03 · YOUR VISIT
Your visit, step by step.
Consultation.
A quick look at your skin and your goal, and the right light setting chosen — or the full £15 consultation if you'd like a proper skin plan first.
Preparation.
A cleanse so the light reaches bare skin, eye protection on, and the panel positioned close over the face.
The session.
Thirty minutes under the light. Warm-ish, silent, and reliably the most restful half-hour of most clients' week.
Afterwards.
Nothing to avoid — make-up, gym, dinner, all fine. LED rewards rhythm: sessions once or twice a week for a month or so, then as maintenance.
04 · PRICES
Prices.
The 40-minute booking includes preparation around the 30-minute light session. LED works best as a course — ask us about the sensible rhythm for your skin.
05 · GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
Low-level light therapy is one of the better-studied gentle skin treatments, and Celluma is a professional-grade, medically certified device — not a novelty mask. What we promise is cosmetic: many clients find skin looks calmer, clearer and brighter over a course. What we don't promise is medicine.
Like resting under a faint warmth with your eyes closed. There's no sensation on the skin at all — clients routinely fall asleep, and we let them.
LED is cumulative. Give it four to eight sessions over a month or so before judging, then drop to maintenance. A single session is pleasant but won't transform anything — we'd rather tell you that now.
Blue is the usual choice for blemish-prone or congested skin; red for a calmer, brighter, better-rested look. We choose the setting with you at each visit — skin changes, and the light should follow.
That's its best trick. Half an hour of LED after a deep cleansing facial, a peel or microneedling is the calmest possible way to finish — book them together on Fresha or ask us to arrange it.
