This is the fix-it end of our menu: single-nail repairs for breaks and cracks, strengthening overlays for nails that bend and peel, and structural correction for nails that grow downwards and need architecture to grow out level. Most take fifteen to twenty minutes per nail.
A repaired nail keeps its length while the break grows out safely under a reinforcing layer, matched so closely to its neighbours that nobody spots the patch. Corrections work the same way over a few appointments — the coating holds the nail’s shape while nature catches up.
Alongside these sit two small comforts: a warm paraffin treatment that leaves hands or feet feeling remarkably soft, and ingrown nail relief — careful trimming and shaping that eases the pressure of a nail growing into the skin. We look at the nail in question — the break, the bend, the growth pattern — and tell you exactly what's fixable today and what needs a plan.
Preparation.
The nail is cleaned and prepared, and any failing coating around the damage is removed so the repair bonds properly.
The fix.
Repair, overlay or correction built in thin structured layers, then shaped and finished flush with the rest of the hand — or the warm paraffin wrap, if softness is the errand.
Aftercare.
Cuticle oil daily, gloves for the washing up, and a check at your next manicure. Corrections are reviewed each visit until the nail no longer needs the help.

Usually, yes — if there's enough nail to work with, a thin reinforcing layer bridges the break and holds it while it grows out. The sooner you come in after the crack, the better the odds. Resist the urge to file it off in the meantime.

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. We carefully trim and shape the nail to ease the pressure — cosmetic, comfortable, done with sterilised instruments. If the area is inflamed, infected or keeps returning, a podiatrist is the right call and we'll say so plainly.
